It was a very nice stay, stylish and special place. Everything was fantastic, good service, magnificent location short walk to trains, surrounding countryside and the restaurant. Appreciated our delicious breakfast with yogurt and soft drinks. Everyone was superfriendly as well as owner.
The hotel staff was busy.

Welcoming staff . Clean room with quality fixtures. Nice touches in the room with water, fruit teas and chocolate. Excellent breakfast cooked to order, my poached eggs were spot on . The toast was " proper " bread and the marmalade was lovely and tangy . Quiet location and small hotel so no banging doors in the night so you could get a good nights sleep. Would I stay again - definetely yes
Stayed in room 11 and the position of the TV to the side of the bed made viewing from the bed awkward

The food was excellent, well cooked and delicious. Decor of the dining room was lovely.
The heat from the towel rail in the bathroom was excessive / couldn't be turned off and although the bedroom radiator in the very small bedroom was turned off I still needed the windows open, even though it was -4 degrees outside!

Great welcome, room and bed was huge and food top notch. Honesty bar was novel and great...
Nothing! Stay there, it's a great little boutique guest house/ hotel a short drive from the more obvious branded hotels, I would choose the small business every day of the week and this one was perfect.

Beautifully maintained garden area, Honesty bar experience, Excellent showers
The lack of air conditioning. Thin walls provided little sound insulation, leading to a noisy experience throughout the night!!! Regular upkeep is needed for bathroom cleanliness as well.

great features but lacking attention to detail
The shower in my room was fantastic. I also appreciated the staff, who displayed genuine friendliness and were eager to assist with any queries I had.
Some areas seemed to miss minor maintenance tasks that could enhance the overall experience.
